Updating stats right after change in configuration is not only required, but i can say its Mandatory.

I can never think off help of TSet in this juncture... Its not only the AMPs details which STATS takes are of. But also other environment variables/information like

- Number of Nodes

- Number and type of CPUs

- Disk Array Information

- Interconnect Information

- Amount of Memory Available

- Number of Virtual AMPs

etc and etc..

So, please have stats updated for every single / required table(s) after a config change.
