Integer literals are associated to a numeric data type (e.g. BYTEINT, SMALLINT, INTEGER) depending on the value (100 is BYTEINT)

Each data type has a default format ( -(3)9, -(5)9 and -(10)9 in the previous examples)

Literals are implicitly converted to CHAR according to the default format, and that explains the lengths found.
