Hi Machha,

Thanks for the thought but your command sets the comment to a '?', not NULL.

Running your command and then the following query finds no rows (i.e. the comment has not been set to null):

     sel *
     from dbc.tables
     where databasename = 'workdb'
       and tablename = 't1'
       and commentstring is null;
