This sounds like a known ODBC bug in certain versions of ODBC. It causes the output from SHOW statements to get truncated.

I know the following versions have the problem

13.0.0.6 (.05 is OK, fixed again at .09 I think)

13.10.0.2 (.01 is OK, not sure of the level this is fixed at)

Check the readme files that come with the efixes for DR 143507.
