Hi Naveen,

operationinprocess column in dbc.events is set to 'Y' for the object being backed up if backup is running and will be left to 'Y' if job is aborted/failed. (When backup of that object is successful this flag will be updated to 'N').

May be you can use this with dbc.sessioninfo to check if backup sessions are active or not, and if not raise an alert...
