Subj:   Teradata SQLA JE

From:   Faible Mou

H,

I have three questions regarding the following from the Teradata SQL Assistant Java Edition Release Definition pdf file: Teradata SQLA JE consists of two software packages: an open source software package and the Teradata product package.

1 From the Teradata Download Center (www.teradata.com/DownloadCenter/), open the Teradata SQLA JE section and click the operating system version to install.

2 Click the Teradata SQL Assistant Java Edition 13.00 link.

3 Click Teradata SQL Assistant link SQLA-.zip to download the Teradata SQLA JE software package.

Q1: I can't find the "Teradata SQLA JE section" under the Teradata Download Center (www.teradata.com/DownloadCenter/). Can anyone give me a direct link please?

Q2: "Teradata SQLA JE consists of *two* software packages", however, the download & installation document only refer to one package, where can I get the second one?

Q3: The dependency of Teradata SQLA JE in only JRE (in table 2), is it true? If I need JDBC connections, do I need to download the Teradata JDBC driver as well?

Thanks

FM
