Hi Syed,

Could you please use Rank function instead of ROW_NUMBER and test it out? Because, the ROW_NUMBER function assigns row number at random every time due to the duplicates, where as the RANK function will always assign the same rank to the least values. So your record count will always be the same. But I'm not sure whether it satisfies your requirement.
