I have a question regarding the Lock Display Utility and the data being returned from the utility. I want to use it to figure out exactly what tables are being MLoaded/Fastloaded, and which sessions are responsible. I can tell from the transactions locks what tables are being locked, but I have an issue trying to interpret the session Returned by Lock Display. Given this example using the TRAN command and selecting an amp, I get the following output. Tran: 16379 2F2D58D6 Host: 1025 Session: 144,52288 Mode: EX User: DIGITAL_LOAD01 Database: DIGITAL_WRK Table: WT_CPM_SUM_FACT_OUT I get representation of the Tran: line . (PE) (Tranaction ID in hex) How do I convert the Session: 144,52288 into a meaningful session id as displayed by dbc.sesssioninfo??? I suppose these may be hex representations as they are both evenly divisible by 16. 144/16 = 9 52288 = 3268 But I am not able to match up these numbers (by multiplying , adding, otherwise) with the session ids as reported by dbc.sesssioninfo.. Does someone have the formula to do so properly? Thanks for the help in advance. Eric W. Barner
