Hi HTH,

Thanks for the quick response. I need to do it with .NET since I'm creating an .NET application that queries the TeraData database and uses it against another database. I want to use the .NET adapter that allows me to talk to Teredata, but I read it's not that fast. So I guess I can use the .NET adapter to do the initial query, but then I want to use something else (fast export), to get the data down faster. So fastexport puts a physical file on my computer?. If so then I can reload that file to another database.
