Hi all, Thanks for the input Apologies for not being clear - we have a production system and a dr system. They are exact copies. So we upgraded our production from a 5400 to a 5550 and we upgraded our DR from a 5400 to a 5550. We use restore as the primary strategy for replicating data to our warm DR environment. So the restores are from a 75amp system to a 75amp system. We are experiencing performance degradation for arcmain restores in this new enviroemnt in comparison to the arcmain restores on the old 5400 (4node running v2r6) We have 3 bar nodes and currently run one stream on each - on our dr side we have 3 bar servers and run one stream on each. As its a full system restore there is a mixture of large and small tables. We see a degradation in performance across all our restores irrspective of whether they are large or small tables. We dont do cluster archives A) Does anyone else use arcmain restore as a scheduled process to replicate data to a DR environment ? B) If yes - has anyone experienced our issue and have advice/examples on what strategies they engaged to cope ? Any other input would be appreciated rgds anne kearney
