Thank you very much for your tip, we did still have 3 of the offending dlls in the system32 directory which were the old version. I removed these and the restores worked with no issues. It would seem that TTU 12 installs in one of the Teradata directories, whereas TTU 8.2 installed some dlls in the system32 directory.
