Question to consider :

What is the nature of the data that you are loading - is it all inserts or a mix of updates and inserts? - How unique is the data in general and the PI specificially?

Is the target table a SET table?

Are you using array support?

What is the pack factor?

How many sessions are you using?

Is the performance consistent? Ie if you ran the job 100 times whould you see the same thing?

Is the delay in the db? If so where?

What is the overall system performance?
