Subj:   What if we use Fload or Mload for less than 10000 rows

From:   prahlad.k.patidar

Hi,

We are using Tpump to load rows from flat file into an empty table.

When no of rows are less than say 2000, the performance of Tpump is satisfactory. But as no of rows increases the performance becomes poor and if the no of rows goes to near 20000, it takes almost 30-40 minutes to load the data.

That's is too long.

Can anyone suggest how to improve Tpump performance.

Or what if we use Mload/Fload and how the performance would be when rows are too less.

Regards

Prahlad
