Hi Ayush, To check a query whilst it is running use Teradata Manager, PMON or (if you're on TD 12) you can use the MonitorSession command. These will show you if the query is doing anything (increasing cpu, io's etc and changing spool space). A question for you: in your last email you said " I first released the lock on the target table ". What do you mean by this ? There is no command to release an SQL lock on a table.
