Depending on the version the ODBC driver may change columns defined as TIME to be INTEGER if the following option is checked in SQL Assistant:

'Allow use of ODBC SQL Extensions in queries' (on the Query tab)

To prevent this, clear the option.

In general it is best to keep this option cleared unless you specifically use ODBC SQL extension functions, or you use SQL Assistant to create Stored Procedures.
