Teradata mainframe gurus please awake from your slumber.

I am trying to load up a dataset that has been unloaded from DB2 using BMC unload.

The options include

     FORMAT CSV

     ENCLOSEDBY X'01'

This means that each attribute is comma seperated but also that each comma is also enclosed in hexadecimal '01'.

I expect this is to allow for those attrubutes where a comma is part of the data.

I would be comfortable with plain comma delimited data but not sure how to handle the extra X'01's.

Does anyone have any suggestions? if not would FORMAT EXTERNAL be a preferable unload option?
