<-- Anonymously Posted: Thu, 19 Feb 2009 10:29 --> When creating a foreign key constraint you have three options for specifying the enforcement of referential integrity in your FK constraint clause: 1) "with check option" (transaction-level or "batch" RI), or 2) "with NO check option" (NO enforcement of RI), or 3) "" (row-level enforcement of RI) I have been searching through the reference manuals and the Teradata Forum and the DBC tables and views and I cannot find where this information is stored in the data dictionary. It is my understanding this this information is stored in the table header, but I would hope that it is also stored somewhere in the data dictionary where you could easily query it. Is it? The DBC ALL_RI_CHILDREN and ALL_RI_PARENTS views have a column named "InconsistencyFlag", but that column does NOT contain the RI enforcement information that I am looking for. I am on v2r6.0.2. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
