We too are in the planning phase of migrating from a system running V2R6.2 to a new teradata running version 12

When connecting to the teradata 12 from teradata admin 7.2 (from ttu8.2) it fails saying

'the required SQL was not found in teradata anministrator\sql\winddl.def'

as the winddl file is a bit different on teradata administrator V12. something to keep in mind if you dont get all your users upgraded
