I was doing some quarterly analysis on our Production system and noticed that DBCMANAGER is doing a lot of logon/logoffs (About 30 times per minute). I was wondering if this is normal behavior or if there are some settings I am failing to configure.

I have configured all of the Data Collection schedules (only one heartbeat once per hour) and have a few TDManager Alerts set up as well. The Collection rates are Node 60sec, VProc 60sec, Session 60sec.

There are 2 sessions logged on all of the time under the ISSERVICE logon source (One for MONITOR partition and one for DBC/SQL partition.

I am still pretty new at this ( using TDMAN for about 6 months) so any information would be helpful and appreciated.
