This will be absolutely true when you have a lot of rows to delete. MLoad reads and writes each block (that changes/deletes row(s)) one time versus once per row. This is where the speed comes from other than not using the TJ. So with lots of rows to delete the chance of multiple rows being together in the same block increases. However, with few rows to delete the probability of multiple rows being in the same block decreases. As the probability decreases the efficiency of MLoad decreases compared to straight SQL.

Plus, you have to wait for MLoad to logon once per session - this can take some time too.
