Hi, the iddle and responding seen in Pmon explain that Teradata has finish his job and is sending the resultset. Check the size of spool used and you'll see approximatly the amount of data that are being sending thru the network to the client. So check if the Reports are well constructed. 2 years ago, we had migrated some Cognos reports (v7) from DB2 to Teradata, and one of the reason of that ,is that some function implemented in cognos do not have been translated to teradata (for exemple function days() have to been replaced by sql : extract day from) If you do no trnaslate Days function =>this function will be done on client side, thru ODBC and internal Cognos day function. To bypass this and enforce the function to be done on Teradata and reduce the amount of data send to the client, You need to rewrite this functions in some .ini cognos files ( 2 or 3 , I don't remember wich file,s but it if you want i can have a look on my archives. ) Regards. Patrick
