Hi,

Optimizer will choose large tables for duplication in two conditions.

1) If stats is not gathered properly then it will take the larger table for duplication, as it will wrongly calculate it is the smaller table.

2) The table selection for duplication is purely depend upon the "selection","projection" of the number of rows,i.e., If the larger table has less number of rows, columns to the given condition, when compare to the smaller table rows then it will duplicate the larger table qualified rows on All Amps.
