Fastload recognizes the same DATABASE command like you might use in any Teradata client to change from one database to another. It does not however change the setting for your user. It only moves you to the database until you move to another database or logoff. Upon the next logon request you will be back in your DEFAULT database again. If you want a new default database to be established, a DBA must MODIFY your user information.
