We have been having sporadic issues where one of our ETL servers has locked up in the middle of the night and all jobs loading data to teradata have failed. This happened again this week. I happened to be reviewing my Higa charts today and happened to notice that at the same time of the failure, there was a dramatic spike on the 'Paging and Memory Allocation Fails' chart. This jumped from normally 0, to 80,000 memory fails at the same time of the ETL server locking up. I'm not sure that these two are related, but it seemed pretty coincidental.

Can anyone give any suggestions on what else I may look at or any thoughts on this problem?
