Hello Michael,

to be honest, I did not know about this problem. (and thus nothing about its possible solution)

Since we are currently only in the process of changing to roles, we have not yet encountered the problem.

However I do not think we will encounter the problem if it has something to do with load utilities. We have only two kind of users that may use fastload (or BTEQ or..): administrators (who do not use roles because they have to create users) and ETL processes which have each one their individual user who is assigned one role.

In addition, I define every user with default role ALL roles, thus avoiding the need to switch roles.

Notwithstanding, if the problem will occur, I will do without roles for the ETL processes.
