Please collect stats and see if there is any difference in optimizer plan, not just cardinality estimates, but in join operation types as well. If it doesn't make any difference and if there are no skewed values, you may ignore.

If you are using TASM as are regulating the priorities and aborting queries using TASM on the basis of Join confidence, it may be useful to collect, even if the join types and cardinalities are near same before and after collecting.
