I just wanted to assure everyone that SQL Assistant itself has no internal timeouts at all. The session timeouts are being applied by some
external governor - folks have suggested firewalls as one possible source.
There are also internal governors that can be set within more recent releases of Teradata, but these would abort your session (and provide you
with a message) rather than simply drop the connection.
