Hi Gurus,

How can one check for presence of multibyte char in a teradata column?

One related problem is that we have a multibyte char (Unicode: 49824) in Oracle table but when we load the same data in teradata latin column it gets loaded. We are using Teradata fastload utility to achieve this.

Example: In Oracle - xxxxx2� _xxxxxx

In Teradata � " xxxxx2� _xxxxxx
