Victor, I was responding to the confusion of answers that were posted. Namely two parts. Oracle and Teradata not responding the same. And secondly to try to explain the phenomena of filtering on the 'INNER' table in the WHERE clause. The original post about the filter on the 'Outer' table would be an issue. I have never seen this issue on any version of Teradata since Outer joins were introduced. If they are seeing this problem, they need to open an Incident with Teradata. Thanks, Bob Diehl
