Subj:   Data storage patterns under Fastload (and

An (empty) table is loaded via FastLoad; the table contains 10M rows; and the rows are spread evenly by a well chosen NUPI across 100 amps.

Per the manuals, rows with the same NUPI tend to be stored in the same data block.

Question

Will the rows of the table tend to be concentrated into a minimum number of densely packed blocks?

With respect to the Fastloaded table, do the blocks tend to hold only rows of this table?

(To focus the discussion, assume that only a few of the NUPIs map to more than three rows.)

Thanks
