'Classical' TD Warehouse Design Methodology recommends second strategy as a preferable one. Couple of projects I have been involved we have
used it and it worked very good for us as unfortunately disasters can happen and it is easy to recover if you want quickly to recover, i.e it is
always good to have a staging environment, just on case. The price you pay - more Perm space, but the payoff is great.
