Read the documentation. All the Teradata client drivers permit multiple IP addresses. They also allow you to specify a hostname prefix "ABCD"
and the driver will search for ABCDcop1, ABCDcop2, etc. in sequence - then pick one. It's never based on load, just randomized starting point in
the list then round-robin. And the DNS lookups can take a while (especially since the default behavior is to wait for one to time out).
