Hello,

As someone had already suggested that if you use TERADATAMANGER - DBS CONSOLE (or database console??) then you are essentially using what was HUTCNS in mainframe regardless of platform.

If you don't have a TERADATAMANAGER setup or no access to it, but have access to the PDN node (usually the first node of the nodes group) with CNS or root privileges then you can issue cnsterm from command line to get to supervisor console and you can start up the utilities such as showlock, showsession, ferret (for showspace, packdisk and such). All these details can be found in Utility reference manual.

Hope this helps.
