Tech Tip:

If asked to drill down and find out all the objects a particular view is accessing (including nested views), use...

     SHOW Select * From view_name;

This will give the definition/create statement of tables and views, whereas,

     EXPLAIN Select * From view_name;

only gives underlying tables - not views.
