Good point , Thanks for the clarification. Robert is absolutely right. Your alternative DBQL table should lag only 1 day behind your DBC table. As Robert puts it , Don't wait months to archive off the data in dbc, otherwise you may experience data loss as he indicated. I meant that you may choose to retain more then 1 day of DBC dbql data as we do (sliding 3 months window). We do this for developers who wish to query recent data because our protected, archived, DBQL data is in a place where only DBA's can see it. Just our own security measures. Thanks for the catch!
