At the end of the day both pictures and sound are binary objects. Binary objects are typically stored as BLOB's.

Teradata doesn't care how you interpret the BLOB, so it can be pictures, sound bytes or any other binary object. Theoretically this could include programs, encrypted text or just about anything else.

You don't mention how you want to access/load these BLOB's but if you search the documentation and archives of these lists for BLOB or Binary Large Object, you should find a number of references.
