Jackson, This is new to me also, but here is what I found with some simple tests. First if you have a time(x) or timestamp(x) without timezone And the all data in the columns is GMT. You can just set the Offset on the Session or User to EST offset. Same can be done with TIME(x) with timezone y And Timestamp(x) with timezone y Difference here is data can be stored in any tiemzone and display can be at whatever timezone you like. NOTE: this probably also change translation when loading data, but I have not tested that yet. I know JDBC will do the translation on load if Timezone is in the data. Thanks, Bob Diehl
