<-- Anonymously Posted: Wednesday, December 13, 2006 13:35 --> Dear forum members, I guess I am asking for too much, but let me give a try. In a frame of 6 months time what is sequence of the activities which a novice DBA should take up so that he becomes a good DBA after 6 months. Certification is a good way to start but I guess the real hot production environment is much different to what is taught in classes. Can you guys throw some light based of your experience? I am ready to burn midnight lamps and read whatever is suggested. Also try whatever you want me start with. With advance thanks to all gurus. PS: I am at an intermediate level as far as my knowledge with Teradata goes. I can write reasonably good SQL. Thanks Anomy
