Subj:   Re: SQL return from Procedure

From:   Barner Eric

Current I do insert an into a table, and then the user must run a select statement (against a security view) to access the statements that were generated and then stored in the table.

I'm not sure that PERL will work, this wont be run from UNIX. I need this to be depolyed to developers with Only an SQL tool. No unix access.

I would just like it to be more seamless.

I wanted an answer set to be returned to the user from a simple statement in bteq, queryman or other SQL tool. E.g. call proc1('val', 'val2');

Thanks for the thoughts!

Eric
