This may be a dumb question but...

I have a series of procedures that go against the DBC.INDEXES, and TVM table to replicate statistics on tables.

Basically it returns SQL statements that would be used to collect the statistics on a tables, (cloned stats).

My question is I want it to return an answer set to a user, but the proc's do not allow the DML statement in the proc.

I also tried to execute a macro using call Dbc.Sysexecsql() command, but that did not work.

Is there a way to do this from a procedure?
