Hi,

I'm currently looking at updating the security of our Teradata system. Currently we can connect to Teradata via both ODBC and TDP.

Is it possible to restrict the way a certain limited number of users can access Teradata or are there any tools that can achieve this? We want to ensure the that users with high levels of access can only submit queries via batch and not via ODBC?

Does anyone have any thoughts or experiences on this?
