Dear Srinivas, You are NOT ALLOWED to kill sessions using T'Data SQL. That rules out the usage of BTEQ for terminating sessions. You can use 'Database Window' or 'cnssupv'(CNS-Supervisor) to use one of the following T'Data utilities... 1> Gateway Global Utility (Start xgtwglobal---->KILL SESSION) 2> CNS-Supervisor Command (ABORT SESSION) Actually, You SHOULD use Teradata Manager, but you don't have access to it. In that case I would suggest that you should not try to use 'cnssupv' nor 'database window' and contact the support-DBA for the same. Thanking you, regards, Mohan Wagh.
