If you have access to the Teradata customer support pages ('NCRAtYourService' or something similar) you can download the latest versions from
the patch server.
Probably only your DBAs and NCR support folks will have the required ID/password to use that. Most companies like to download it to a local
server (and test it out) before they allow their users to install it.
Version 6.2 is pretty old now though ... 7.0 has been available for 18 months, and 7.1 for 6 months now.
