If you went to the trouble to upgrade ODBC on lots of client machines, why use 3.04.00.00 (released late 2004)? Many issues have been
identifified with the driver and lots of DRs / patches have been released in the interim. It's not clear from the one-line DR descriptions if this
particular problem has been addressed, but enough fixes have been made that it's certainly worth a try.
Current patch level for 3.4 appears to be 3.04.00.11; latest version 3.05.00.04.
