Subj:   Re: Question on Hash Map

From:   Robert D Meunier

I believe the manual has a typo when it says there are 65636 hash buckets. I believe the real number is 65536. The SQL Reference: Functions and Operators manual says that the HASHBUCKET function returns values between 0 and 65535 (for a total of 65536). This makes sense as 65535 is the largest value a 2 byte (16 bit) value can represent.
