By default the MLOAD expects the time portion to have colon separators (HH:MI:SS). The ODBC driver may be quietly changing your query to provide compatibility (especially if DateTimeFormat is defaulted to III not set to AAA); or your session defaults could be different.

But why go to all this trouble. Just use the right FORMAT in a CAST:

     cast(:dttm as format 'yyyymmddhhmiss' timestamp(0))
