From:   Stratton, Gary

Thanks for responding Mike,

The problem that you said was fixed many years ago sounds similar. The extra code always consists of pieces of code from the same file, further up. When I erase the unwanted code, save, close, and reopen, the unwanted code returns. Even when I delete the file, and save a new file with the same name, the extra code may be there.

The only way I can remove it is by pasting the wanted part of the code into a new file, with a new name. Some of my files do not have this problem, and it may be because, as you said, the new file was not shortened and saved over the old file.

I'm not the only one that experiences this problem here.

I am using TD SQL Assistant 6.2.0

I save my files with the sql extension.

I'm not sure about the "Unicode window", or "single query mode". I have not worked with these settings.

My files are usually opened via ctrl+O, however, the problem exists if I double click an sql file in explorer.
