Hi Raju,

     SUFFIX  char(2)  compress('Sr','Jr')

The above statement is better than other two. Because in this case it compresses two constants and NULL values also. So all the values in that column will be compressed.

If compress option is there without constants then by default it will compress the NULL values to Zero Space for that column.
