Mike: Thanks. What version of Microsoft Access is capable of reading the history file? I did what you said and that worked for 9 sql statements and then I get the corrupted file message again. "Unable to open history database. Cannot open database : then the path. It may not be a database your application recognizes for the database is corrupt." The database I have on my machine is Microsoft Access 2002 SP3. running Windows 2000 Professional 5.0.2195 Service pack 4 build 2195. Should I upgrade to SQL Assistant 8.0 or 8.1? Capp Luckett
