Like yourself, I imagine most all agree that there is definitely a place for the anonymous poster in this space.

Speaking personally however, I must admit I do sometimes discount certain anonymous posts....Your response got me thinking about my reactions to the ones I have felt this way about and I find that generally it boils down to the content of the post. Excluding the obvious flame jobs or other diatribes, those that profess "strongly worded" positions or opinions I tend to discredit somewhat if they come from an anonymous source. Mind you this is purely a subjective thing but for me, I generally come down on the side of if someone is going express strong sentiments, I feel they should also be willing to stand up and be recognized.....
